The 308 model is the largest truck offered by Hino which is equipped with a hydraulic braking system. The 308 is excellent for cargo delivery operations that require the versatility of a truck with a payload capacity of over 16,000 lbs. Many customers have commented on the superb handling and outstanding fuel economy of their 308s. Available wheel bases: 175 to 271 inches.

The 308 is equipped with the Hino 220 H.P. J-Series OHC 4-valve turbocharged, intercooled 6 cylinder engine.
The 308 comes standard with a 6 speed Eaton FS5406A manual transmission with an optional 5 speed Allison 2500 RDS automatic transmission. Braking is accomplished by a Hydraulic Disc system with ABS. A Dealer installed exhaust brake kit is also available.

The 2007 308 Hino comes standard with Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Tilt and Telescopic Steering, Electric Windows. AM/FM CD, Coil Spring Seat, Self-Adjusting Clutch, Oil Lubricated Front Wheel Bearings, a 3 Piece Front Bumper and a Chrome Grille.
