OBJECTIVES

An individual applying for this position must be a high performer, juggle competing demands and be able to work under pressure, and bring a high degree of industry knowledge and customer service excellence to this role. This individual will be responsible for running Somerville Hino’s service location in Toronto. The responsibility to achieve sales, profits, and efficiency by maximizing production, controlling costs, marketing, building a clientele, and establishing solid employee relationships.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and maintain set profit levels for service department
  • Build monthly reporting standards for departments to be reviewed by management for service department
  • Interact with customers to know the nature of their automotive/ truck problems
  • Ensure technician productivity and efficiency
  • Monitor workflow to ensure work is completed properly
  • Forecast goals and objectives for departments
  • Conduct meetings with technicians and staff to review concerns and ideas
  • Identify areas for improvement

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • 10 years parts experience
  • 5 years’ Parts Manager experience
  • Knowledge of CDK is an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree is an asset
  • Automotive/truck mechanical knowledge
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent customer service & time management
  • G license
  • Clean drivers abstract
