Parts Analyst

This position supports the objectives of the Parts team by providing analytical information and support of crucial parts related information. This includes management reporting, dealer/regional comparative data, identification of sales trends and participating in quarterly meeting presentations.

 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide analytical support and prepare regular reports for distribution to management, dealers and regional sales reps
• Provide analysis of Units in Operations (UIO) by Dealer and region to identify growth and sales opportunities as well as underperforming markets
• Analyze Parts Sales to help identify market trends, underperforming regions and/or dealers, improvement areas and other statistical information
• Provide support to the regional sales reps on their dealer network
• Assist with month/year end report to senior management and Hino Japan
• Various other custom reports as needed
• Assist with the daily parts department needs as required

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel & PowerPoint)
• Ability to work accurately and pay close attention to details
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Good communication skills (quarterly meetings)

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• Administrative skills including repetitive data entry
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Ability to exercise initiative, good judgement, and discretion in all matters
• Automotive knowledge an asset

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

• Post-secondary education in a business-related environment
