OBJECTIVES
Tri Truck Centre is looking for a Licensed & Apprentice Truck Technicians to join the team in Barrie.
The Licensed Truck Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, dismantling, aligning, assembling, and quality repairs to maintain trucks and equipment in efficient operating condition. Road test customers trucks to verify complaints and the quality repairs performed resolved the issue.
The Apprentice Truck Technician is responsible for routine maintenance jobs and repairs under the supervision of a technician. Our Apprentice Truck Technician’s will work toward becoming a Ministry and Hino Truck technical specialist who will learn to perform diagnostic and repair work in the context of technically demanding and complex tasks.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Road test customers trucks to verify complaints and qualify the repairs performed resolved the issue.
- Diagnose customer concerns and perform repairs and vehicle maintenance.
- Repair customer’s trucks with the highest quality.
- Inspect vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
- Adhere to Company and Legislative Health & Safety Policies.
- Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- A valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Registered apprenticeship with either an accredited institution or through a dealership is preferred or a valid 310T technician certification.
- Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs.
- Good time management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-starter and a team player.
- Good attitude, reliable, disciplined and a problem solver.
- Strong communication skills.
- A desire to achieve the very best in customer service and teamwork.
